Detectives

Officers assigned to the Detectives Division are responsible for investigating all serious crimes including homicide/suicide/reported death, robbery, burglary, rape and sexual assault, arson, drug distribution, significant larcenies or other property offenses, etc. All Detectives are tasked with assisting patrol officers with involved and detailed crimes, arrest victims of crime, conducting undercover surveillance operations, maintaining the sexual assault file and sex offender registry, coordinating intelligence and confidential information, conducting background searches, and evidence collection/development. The unit also serves as liaison with the Plymouth County District Attorney's Office, as well as other local, state and federal law enforcement agencies.
